Sue Duffing
Sue Duffing initially met Eric Wilkes as her GP. Later, whilst planning St Luke's Hospice in Sheffield, Eric Wilkes approached Sue Duffing's then husband, MP John Osborne, concerning access to charitable trust funds, and, wishing to help, she became Eric Wilkes' secretary. The interview describes the early fund raising and building before the opening of St Luke's in 1971, as well as the reactions of the local community, professionals, and Press.
