John Easun
John is Acting Administrator at Pilgrims Hospice, Ashford, Kent. Prior to its opening, he was Appeal Administrator and assisted in raising the 3½ million pounds needed to realise this third hospice in the region. When the appeal work ended in 2001, John Easun embarked on further work as a guide at Leeds Castle, near Maidstone, and has continued to combine this seasonal work with his temporary hospice responsibilities. His role as Acting Administrator involves responsibility for building maintenance, financial management, purchasing of non-medical supplies, and overseeing non-nursing/medical staff, including administrative and kitchen personnel, and volunteers.
