Oral history is composed of spoken testimony, stories and experiences and is a valuable way of capturing individual understandings and perspectives of the recent past.
It is enabling us to record the life stories of a wide variety of men and women involved in the work of hospice and palliative care around the world.
We have so far interviewed almost 300 people and a brief written summary of many of these interviews is available on this website.
We have interviews with doctors, nurses, managers, social workers, chaplains, volunteers and others.
The interviews are conducted 'on the record' and many are open to public access for research purposes. We aim to hold the entire collection in CD ROM format as well as in bound paper copies. |
